Traveled to North Dakota this weekend for my uncle's funeral. My dad's brother died suddenly of a stroke....extremely sad. We revisited Ellie's great grandma's grave....we spent last year (same weekend) in ND for her funeral...hopefully next year we won't be here for another funeral.
Things were super fun. And the kids did such a great job...i am posting some pictures...Spent lots of time standing around and catching up with relatives that we don't ever see...Dad has 6 brothers and sisters left...such nice people. wish we lived closer to them. most of them still are in Seattle, WA. But they were born & raised in a small town...Wilton, ND...just about 20 minutes outside of Bismarck, ND. It was fun for Ellie to see where Papa grew up. The pics were taken in the field where dad grew up. His house is no longer there but a few trees were left standing..
